The freezing period of the water body should be shortened as far as possible. before the pond water surface is frozen, whether to enter and discharge is determined according to the water temperature of the source water and the water temperature of the aquaculture water body, so as to ensure that the aquaculture water body has a higher water temperature and delay the freezing time of the water surface.
3. Don't pull the net too much to catch in the snowy day. Do pull the net quickly to reduce the damage to the fish. During the overwintering period, fish rarely eat or stop feeding, the amount of activity decreases obviously, the level of metabolism decreases, the growth rate slows down, and the disease resistance decreases obviously. Too much net-pulling is easy to cause fish body damage, and the fish body surface is easy to be infected with water mildew.
4. pay attention to the safety of all kinds of fishery facilities. Greenhouse plastic greenhouses and general simple management houses should remove snow in time to prevent excessive snow from collapsing; pond culture should check whether the inlet and drainage channels are unblocked; greenhouse soft-shelled turtle and tropical ornamental fish culture should pay attention to the safety of various pipelines to prevent gas, power and water outages caused by freezing.
5. increase the number of pond patrols and pay attention to observing the activities of aquaculture aquatic products. During the heavy snow, it is necessary to appropriately increase the patrol of the ponds and do a good job in preventing the cold from wintering. During the overwintering period, as long as the water level is deep enough (2.5m), the four big fish can pass the winter safely. However, some tropical and subtropical fish, such as freshwater white Pomfret, Egyptian moustache catfish, tilapia, etc., will be frostbitten or even frozen to death in large numbers when the water temperature is below 10 ℃. They should spend the winter in greenhouses, greenhouses, or using waste heat from geothermal factories. Therefore, as soon as fish activity is found to be abnormal, timely measures should be taken.
