two。 The noodle net is a tool to protect the operator's head and neck from bee stings when managing the bee colony.

3. A special tool for raising bees with a scraper. There is a machete at one end and a flat knife at the other. Use it to pry, scrape, and shovel things, such as prizing the sub-cover, scraping dirt in the beehive and on the nest frame.

4. A smoke sprayer is a sedative or a tool to drive away bees. It is composed of a chimney and a net cage. When in use, light the paper, hay or linen, etc., into the cigarette holder, cover the mouth, encourage the bellows to emit thick smoke, but do not spout sparks.

5. The bee broom is mainly used to sweep the bees attached to the hive spleen, box, king frame and other bees. It is a long fan-shaped long hair brush. There are generally two rows of bristles, 65 mm long, made of white horse bristles or ponytail hair that are not easy to absorb water. 6. The bee stool can be used for management and record books. Sit on the bench when checking the colony.

7. The diaphragm board is a grid board to control the spawning and activity of the queen bee, which strictly divides the colony into breeding areas and honey-producing areas, so that larvae, pupae, pollen and so on will not be mixed with honey, and worker bees can pass freely. The lead wire partition board made of No. 14 lead wire is firm and durable and is not easy to deform; the gap between the two lead wires is about 4.4 mm, and the queen bee cannot pass, but the price is more expensive. The bamboo wire partition board made of 7.5 mm diameter bamboo wire is convenient to take materials in the south of our country, easy to process, low cost, but poor firmness, easy to deform, the king partition board is divided into plane partition board and frame type partition board. The flat partition board separates the breeding nest from the honey storage box to facilitate the extraction of honey and improve the quality of honey. The frame-type partition board is inserted into the beehive to control the queen bee to lay eggs on several spleen.

8. The feeding utensils can be used to supplement the feeding of honey, syrup or water, which are commonly used: (1) the nest door feeder, also known as the bottle feeder, is composed of a wide mouth bottle and a base, and the bottle cap is nailed to a number of small holes. The bottle filled with honey is inverted and inserted into the base. Under atmospheric pressure, honey can be sucked out by bees without dripping. At night, the base mouth of the nest door feeding is inserted into the nest from the nest door, which is suitable for reward feeding and can avoid causing bee theft. For the weak group that is not full, it can be fed outside the partition in the beehive. The plastic cup feeder developed by the apiculture of Hebei Agricultural University is easy to carry. After filling the syrup, the bottom cover is covered, the bottom cover is turned down, and inserted into the nest from the nest door. (2) the frame feeder is a long flat feeding trough which is similar in size to the standard frame. There are wooden and plastic ones, which can also be made of coarse bamboo. There are thin wood chips floating strips in the apparatus, which are used for bees to gain a foothold when feeding, and the frame feeder is suitable for supplementary feeding. In addition, the shallow grooves chiseled into rectangular beams on the nest frame can also be used to feed a small amount of honey. (3) the nest top feeder is a large feeder placed on top of the beehive, the size of which is similar to that of a shallow relay box, which is suitable for emergency supplementary feed and overwintering feed, and can hold 5-10 liters of syrup at a time.

9. There are several kinds of queen bee inducers commonly used in queen bee inducers, such as wood inducer, safety inducer, frame inducer and so on. (1) the wooden sleeve inducer is a flat iron gauze cage with a small hole in the wood plug at one end and a drawable iron piece, and a thin wooden board is inserted at the open end of the iron gauze cage. (2) the safety inducer, also known as the buckle spleen inducer, is a rectangular silver wire gauze cage with iron teeth in the lower part of the four walls, which can be pressed into the nest spleen, and there is an extractable iron plate in the lower part. (3) the full-frame inducer is framed with wood or iron plate, and two large sides are equipped with lead wire yarn, with an internal width of about 43 mm and a height of 245 mm, just enough to fit into a nest spleen with a drawing board on it. (4) the queen bee cage is a rectangular cage made of lead yarn, with a volume of about 23 mm x 33 mm x 50 mm. The upper iron wall has a round hole, which can be put into the king's platform or the queen bee. There is a sliding iron cover on the round hole, and the lower part is equipped with a wooden feed trough that can be opened and closed, which can be filled with sugar. It can be used to lure the queen or the queen bee, or to imprison the queen bee. In recent years, a kind of queen bee cage made of bamboo silk is widely used, with plastic sheets with small holes drilled around, as the upper and lower ends, and bamboo wires with a diameter of 2 mm are inserted into small holes to form a rectangular cage with a volume of about 20 mm x 33 mm x 50 mm. Each bamboo wire is 3 mm apart, one of which is long and movable, which can be pulled out and put into the queen bee. Mostly used in late autumn or winter, the queen bee colony will be closed to the bamboo queen bee cage, so that the queen bee stop production, easy to control bee mites.

10. Other tools and equipment beekeeping use beehives, nest frames and other wooden beehives, which need frequent maintenance and repair. therefore, it is necessary to learn the basic operation techniques of carpentry and prepare a set of common woodworking tools, such as saws, planers, hammers, pliers, screwdrivers, etc., it's more convenient to work.
