"Zaodabai", a New Potato Variety

Characteristics: the variety is early-maturing, disease-resistant, high-yielding, and has the outstanding characteristics of large and neat potato pieces, white skin and white meat, and good commercial quality, so it is named "Zaodabai" to the crop Variety approval Committee of Liaoning Province. "Zaodabai" has strong buds, fast emergence and rapid growth in the early stage, and generally matures 85 days after sowing; tubers are concentrated and neat, tubers expand rapidly, and the proportion of large and medium potatoes (commodity rate) reaches more than 80% 75 days after sowing. Plastic film mulching cultivation matured 65 days after sowing, the output value of early listing was high, and early stubble mulching improved the benefit of multiple cropping.

Key points of cultivation: the yield of this variety is about 2000 kg per mu, and the proportion of large and medium potatoes (commodity rate) is 93.2%; the yield of plastic film mulching is 1500 kg per mu, and the proportion of large and medium potatoes is more than 85%.
