A new potato variety-Anshu 58

The seedling line of potato variety EPOKA as female parent and 4081 as male parent was selected by Institute of Agricultural Sciences of Ankang City, Shaanxi Province. It was examined and approved by Shaanxi Provincial crop Variety approval Committee in September 2001.

The potato piece is long and flat, light yellow, the potato skin is smooth, the bud eye is shallow, and the potato meat is light yellow. Resistant to waterlogging, drought and storage. Resistant to diseases such as late blight, leaf roll virus and mosaic virus.

The yield performance participated in the national southwest variety regional trial with an average yield of 1726 kg, which increased by 31.50% compared with the Mila variety planted in a large area, the rate of commercial potato was 80%, the content of crude starch was 74.80%, and the content of reducing sugar during harvest was 0.19%. The content of reducing sugar during storage is 0.208%, and the taste is medium and high. It is a new multi-purpose processing potato variety with high yield, disease resistance and low reducing sugar.

Cultivation key points ① is suitable for planting in high, middle and low mountain areas, hills and Chuandao areas. It is appropriate to sow early, cultivate green short and strong buds, accelerate budding sowing or plastic film cultivation, and it is best to use plastic film mulching cultivation or budding sowing in low mountains, hills and Sichuan areas.
