Variety source: potato variety bred by Hubei Enshi South China Potato Research Center using "393143-12" as female parent and "NS51-5" as male parent. Original code: T962-76. It was approved by Hubei Provincial crop Variety approval Committee in 2005, and the variety approval number is Eshenshu 2005001.
Quality and yield: participated in the regional trial of potato varieties in Hubei Province from 2003 to 2004, the content of starch was 18.90% and the content of dry matter was 24.65%. The average yield per mu in the two-year regional trial was 1873.4 kg, which was 17.99% higher than that of the control Hubei potato No. 3. Among them: in 2003, the yield per mu was 1390 kg, which was 9.36% higher than that of Hubei potato 3, which was significant; in 2004, the yield per mu was 2356.7 kg, which was 23.75% higher than that of Hubei potato 3, which was very significant.
Characteristics: the plant type is semi-diffuse, the plant is taller, the leaf is smaller and the growth potential is strong. The stems and leaves are green, the Corolla is white, and the flowers are luxuriant. Tuber concentrated, potato-shaped flat, yellow skin and white meat, smooth skin, shallow bud eyes, resistant to storage. The rate of commercial potato is low. In the regional test, the plant height was 59.7 cm, the number of main stems per plant was 5.4, the number of tubers per plant was 12.2, and the rate of commercial potato was 64.6%. The whole growth period is 89 days, which is 8 days longer than Mira and 1 day shorter than Hubei Potato No. 3. The disease resistance was identified as 11.09% of late blight disease, 0.31% of mild mosaic virus disease and 0% of bacterial wilt disease.
Main points of cultivation: 1. Select virus-free seed potato and adopt the technique of transplanting potato with bud. 2. Reasonable close planting. 4000 plants per mu of monoculture and 2400 plants of intercropping. 3. Scientific fertilization. Heavy application of organic fertilizer, increased application of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, and timely application of bud fertilizer. 15002000 kg of farm manure, 20 kg of superphosphate and 15 kg of compound fertilizer (15:15:15) were applied to the base fertilizer per mu; when the young buds broke the soil, early topdressing fertilizer and 10 kg urea per mu were applied; when budding, 3-5 kg urea per mu was applied according to the growth trend to prevent premature senility. 4. Pay attention to crop rotation, prevent bacterial wilt, and control late blight and 28-star lady beetles.
Suitable range: suitable for planting in two high mountains and high mountain areas of Hubei Province.
