How to give a pig an injection
Injecting pigs is the main method to prevent and treat pig diseases. Several injection methods are usually used, such as intramuscular injection, subcutaneous injection, intravenous injection, intraperitoneal injection and so on.
Intramuscular injection
The muscle is rich in blood vessels, and the injected solution is absorbed quickly. in addition, the distribution of sensory nerves in the muscle is less, and the pain caused by it is less, so it is the most commonly used injection method. The injection site is generally chosen in the muscular buttocks or neck. When injecting, first shearing, disinfecting, holding the syringe in the right hand, piercing the needle vertically. The depth can be determined according to the size of the pig, usually about 3 centimeters.
Hypodermic injection
When the liquid is injected into the loose tissue between the skin and muscle, the injection site is generally chosen on the inside of the thigh and behind the ear root. When injecting, disinfect the injection site first, lift the skin with the left thumb, index finger and middle finger to form a triangular fold, the right hand inserts the syringe needle obliquely into the skin at an angle of 45 °with the skin, release the left hand to push the syringe and inject the liquid.
Intravenous injection
It is a kind of treatment technology that injects the medicine liquid directly into the blood vessel to make the medicine liquid produce the effect quickly. It is mainly used to rescue critically ill pigs, usually in the back of the ear and the great auricular vein. First, wipe the great vein of the back of the ear with an alcohol cotton ball to make the vein dilate; the assistant uses his fingers to press the vein at the base of the ear to bulge the blood vessels, the injector grabs the pig's ear with his left hand, and the needle is pierced into the blood vessel with the right hand at an angle of 10 to 15 degrees; relax the pressure on the root of the ear, the injector fixed the needle with the left hand, and the right thumb pushed the piston to slowly inject the medicine solution, and then the alcohol cotton ball pressed the pinhole to pull out the needle quickly to avoid hematoma.
Intraperitoneal injection
The liquid is injected into the abdominal cavity. Piglets often use this method. At the injection site, the big pig is in the ventral rib and the piglet is on the side of the midline 3cm below the anterior edge of the pubis. Injection method: the big pig mostly takes the side lie Baoding, pinches the abdominal skin with the left hand, punctures the needle from the direction perpendicular to the abdominal wall, punctures the peritoneum and then injects; the pig can be lifted upside down by the breeder and gently clamps the pig's forebody with two legs to make the intestines move down, and the injector faces the pig's abdomen, punctures the needle below the anterior edge of the pubis and perpendicular to the abdominal wall, punctures the peritoneum and can be injected. Injection should not be too deep or partial to the front, so as not to damage internal organs, nor too much to the rear, so as not to damage the bladder full of urine.

Do a good job of preventing heat and cooling chickens in summer
The most suitable temperature for laying hens is 17 ℃ ~ 28 ℃, and the temperature that has little effect on production is about 7 ℃ ~ 27 ℃. When the summer temperature in Shandong Province is more than 35 ℃, chickens will faint and die when they reach 40 ℃. The experiment proved that when the temperature in the henhouse reached more than 30 ℃, the sperm of the rooster decreased, the sexual maturity of the hen was delayed, the fertilization rate decreased by 60%, and the laying rate of laying hens decreased generally. At the same time, due to the decrease of blood calcium and the imbalance of acid-base balance, it was easy to induce other diseases, such as Escherichia coli, mycosis and so on. Broilers are easy to fat because of their large size.

Symptoms and comprehensive prevention and treatment of porcine endometritis
When sows are in breeding, artificial insemination, delivery, midwifery and abortion, if they do not pay attention to hygiene or disinfection is not strict, bacteria will be brought into the uterus, resulting in reproductive infection of sows, including Escherichia coli, Corynebacterium, Streptococcus, Staphylococcus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Proteus and so on, leading to endometritis. During delivery, the operation of the birth canal or part of the placenta remains in the uterus, which can also cause endometritis. Bacteria can also enter through the vulva when the floor of the barracks is poorly sanitary, or when sows are active in a sewerage playground.
