II. Sources and types of varieties
Formerly known as "95-50", it is an early-maturing summer soybean variety in Huainan. It was bred in 2000 by the Institute of Agricultural Sciences along the Yangtze River in Jiangsu Province to cross Pudong Big Soybean / Yancheng.
III. Scope of adaptation
It is suitable for summer soybean cultivation in Huainan area of Jiangsu Province.
IV. Yield level and characteristics
Participated in the regional trial of summer soybean in Huainan, Jiangsu Province from 2003 to 2004, the average yield per mu in two years was 148.0 kg, which was 8.0% higher than that of the control. In 2005, he participated in the Huainan summer soybean production experiment, with an average yield of 168.1 kg per mu, an increase of 13.9% over the control. The growth period is 120 days, the plant height is 60.2 cm, the pod height is 22.9 cm, the main stem has 2.1 branches and the 100-grain weight is 19.6 grams.
Limited podding habits, white flowers, brown hairs, leaf blade elliptic. When mature, the leaves fall smoothly, but the pods do not crack. The grain is oval, the seed coat is yellow, the navel is dark brown, and the grain is commercial. The occurrence of mosaic virus disease in the field was mild and the lodging resistance was better. The quality was determined by the Soybean Institute of Nanjing Agricultural University and the Food quality, Safety and testing Research Center of Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences, with an average protein of 41.9% and fat of 20.3% in two years.
5. Key points of cultivation techniques
1. Crop rotation. Choose fields that have not planted legumes in the first two crops.
2. Sowing date. The suitable sowing date is June 10-30, and autumn sowing is no later than July 16. The sowing rate is 6-8 kg per mu.
3. Cultivation density. The row spacing is 40 cm and the plant spacing is 13 cm. There are 12000 seedlings per mu sown in summer and 1.2-18000 seedlings per mu in autumn.
4. Fertilizer and water management. The base fertilizer uses 7.5 kg of pure nitrogen per mu, 7.5 kg of phosphorus pentoxide and 7.5 kg of potassium oxide per mu, and 3 kg of pure nitrogen per mu at flowering and pod stage.
5. Chemical regulation. The cultivation fields with medium fertility and high yield should be chemically regulated according to climate and growth in the early flowering stage, generally using 15% paclobutrazol 20-40 grams per mu, 30-50 kg of water, and spraying evenly.
6. Prevention and control of diseases, pests and weeds. Soil insecticides mixed with poisonous soil were used to turn over the soil before sowing to control underground pests. Spraying herbicide to control weeds and pests in time before seedling emergence after sowing.

The new soybean variety Tiefeng 29 was bred by Tieling Soybean Science Research Institute of Liaoning Province in 1987 with high yield, 56.1 g per plant yield, many branches, dense pods, large and neat grains and 100-grain weight of 25.4 g tie 8114-7-4 as the female parent. it was sexually crossed with the general but lodging-resistant tie 84059-13-8 as the male parent, and the original line number was tie 87107-6, which was approved by Liaoning Variety examination and approval Committee in November 1997.
