Tongnong No. 12 (soybean)
"Tongnong 12" is a new high-protein soybean variety selected by Tonghua Academy of Agricultural Sciences. It was approved by Jilin Provincial crop Variety approval Committee in March 2000 and named "Tongnong 12". The protein content is 44.83% and the fat content is 19.28%.
1. The plant of "Tongnong 12" is 85 cm tall and has limited podding habits. Lanceolate, dark green, gray fluffy. The number of nodes in the main stem is 17, which belongs to the multi-branched type and the plant shape converges. The pods are dark brown when ripe. The seed is round, the seed coat is yellow, the navel is yellow, the seed is shiny, and the weight of one hundred seeds is 17 grams.
The indexes of lodging resistance, virus disease resistance and heart borer resistance were better than the control variety "Changnong 4", and the quality evaluation was excellent.
Tongnong No. 12 is a mid-late maturing variety, which takes 130 days from emergence to maturity and requires an effective accumulated temperature of 2650 ℃.
2. The adaptive range "Tongnong 12" is suitable to be planted in the areas where the frost-free period is more than 130 days in the east of Jilin Province and the northeast of Liaoning Province.
3. The key points of cultivation "Tongnong 12" should be sparsely planted and cultivated, and the suitable density is 133000 plants per hectare in the middle and lower fertility plots, that is, the row spacing is 60 cm, the plant spacing is 25 cm, and two seeds are placed in each hole, and the suitable density is 60 cm in row spacing and 30 cm in plant spacing.

The source and type of soybean is Tongshui 526, which is a spring sowing medium-ripe fresh (vegetable) soybean variety.
