Varieties and varieties of Asarum
Asarum commodities are mostly divided into Liao Asarum and Chinese Asarum, Liao Asarum produced in the northeast of the North Asarum and Seoul Asarum, the two characters are similar, but there are wild cultivated products.
Most of the wild Asarum is a small handful of more than ten trees, often rolled into a mass. The rhizome is irregularly cylindrical, long 1~10cm, with short branches, gray-brown surface, rough annular nodes, internode spacing about 2~3mm, and bowl-shaped stem scars at the top of the branches. The root is slender, dense nodes, about 1mm in diameter, long 10~20cm, the surface is grayish yellow, smooth or with fine longitudinal wrinkles. Crisp, easy to break, yellow and white cross section. There are 1-3 leaves on the rhizome; the leaves are long stalked, the stalks are longitudinally striated, and the leaves are broken. Complete leaf blade cordate to reniform-cordate, long 4~10cm, wide 6~12cm, entire, apex short acute or obtuse, base deep cordate, surface light green, sometimes visible flowers or fruit, flowers mostly wrinkled, dark purple, bell-shaped, capsule hemispherical. The breath is spicy, spicy and tongue numb.
The rhizome of cultivated Asarum is much branched, long 5~15cm, diameter 0.2~0.6cm, whisker root length 15~40cm, diameter 0.1~0.2cm (thicker than wild products, commonly known as "hair thick"). There are a lot of leaves. The smell is slightly lighter than that of wild products.
The shape of Asarum chinense is similar to that of Asarum chinensis, but the rhizome is longer than Asarum norvegicum, its 5~20cm is longer, its diameter is 0.1~0.2cm, and its Internode is about 1mm to 10mm. The basal leaves are 1mm to 10mm, and the leaves are heart-shaped, apex acuminate. It is thin and fragile. The fruit is nearly spherical. The aroma and spicy aroma are weaker than those of Asarum chinense.
Seoul Asarum is similar to North Asarum, but its Internode length is 0.1~1cm, with 2 basal leaves, hairy petiole and thick leaves.

How to choose the land to make the bed of Asarum
Asarum seedlings have weak unearthing ability and strict requirements on soil, so humus soil under the forest is mostly selected as seedling field. Humus soil has the advantages of moist, good structure and strong ventilation, which is suitable for the growth of Asarum seedlings. In general, the emergence rate of seedlings raised on humus soil can reach more than 90%. Asarum seedlings should not choose farmland soil, the physical and chemical properties of farmland soil is not as good as humus soil, easy to harden, seedlings are not easy to be unearthed after sowing, easy to dry bud, even if they come out, the growth is not easy to be strong. The specifications of seedling beds and the requirements for light transmittance are the same as seed fields. Nursery beds should be harvested

Control of Diseases and insect pests under Asarum Forest
1. Sclerotinia sclerotiorum is a destructive disease of cultivated Asarum, which harms the roots, overwintering buds, stems, leaves, flowers, fruits and other parts of Asarum. It often happens in spring and autumn, and when it is serious, it will lead to the death of Asarum. Prevention and control measures: arrangements should be made in line with the principle of "prevention is more important than cure". ① blockade disease-prone areas to prohibit the transportation of diseased seeds and seedlings to prevent man-made transmission. The ward and sickbed should be cured in time. ② established a disease-free seedling base, selected disease-free seedlings for transplanting, and established a strict management system to prevent diseased soil,
