Control of stem borer pests in cherry blossoms
The stem borer pests harmful to cherry blossoms are longicorn beetles and coffee bark moths.
1. Longicorn beetles. Longicorn beetles that harm cherry blossoms usually include longicorn beetles, bare-shouldered longicorn beetles, peach red-necked longicorn beetles and so on.
① longicorn beetles. It takes place one generation a year. Catch adults during Eclosion from the end of May to early June: before laying eggs, the adults of longicorn beetles bite a "eight" or "T" shaped groove of about 2 mm and 8 mm in the bark, and then lay eggs in it. The grooves can be found in the trunk during the peak spawning period in mid-late July, and the newly hatched larvae can be destroyed in the cortical activity stage. The larvae are picked out with a grafting knife, and the larvae that are eaten into the xylem need to use a wire hook. You can also use a grafting knife to clean up the insect dung and sawdust, then use a plastic fuel spray can to inject 1:50 times of 50% fenitrothion or Guoshubao infusion solution, and finally seal the borer hole with wet mud.
② bare-shouldered longicorn beetle. One generation per year, artificial capture and drug control were used to control the same star longicorn beetle.
③ red-necked longicorn beetle. One generation occurred in 2 years. Red-necked longicorn beetles often mate and lay eggs from the crown to the base of the trunk from 12 to 13:00 in sunny days, and can be caught after the emergence of adults in mid-June. The decay and feces of the peach-necked longicorn beetle are reddish brown, but when thin reddish-brown feces are found, open the cortex with a knife and kill the newly hatched larvae.
2. Coffee bark moth. It takes place one generation a year. Due to the phototaxis of adults, black light can be used to trap and kill them during Eclosion. The wilting branches should be cut off in time, and cut to kill or burn the insects, or spray nicotine 1000 times or 20% mothyl emulsion 50 times 200 times to kill.

Propagation method of cherry blossom
Mainly by grafting propagation, sowing and cutting can also be done. Cherry and mountain cherry seedlings are generally selected as rootstocks and excellent varieties of cherry blossoms are used as scions for grafting. Splicing is mainly used, while budding is rarely used. The splicing took place in March. Choose one-year-old branches of cherry blossoms as scions and cut small segments of about 8 cm, each with 2-3 full buds. Two symmetrical slopes of different sizes are cut at the lower end of the scion with a grafting knife. One side of the slope is 2 cm long, and the other side is 1 cm long.

Planting and cultivation of Cherry Blossom
How to cultivate, manage and reproduce cherry blossoms for positive flowers and trees, like sunshine, cold and drought tolerance, like sandy soil with good drainage. Flowering period is afraid of the wind, when planting should choose leeward areas, generally planted in ravines, streams and mixed forests. The cherry blossom is strong in positive direction, and the original sunny side must be still positive when transplanting, otherwise it will grow poorly or even die. Cherry blossoms have strong adaptability, transplanting is easy to survive, and management is relatively simple. If you plant cherry blossoms on the ground, you can water them once a year from February to March. In autumn, 90cm away from the root of the tree, 30cm deep and 20cm deep.
