Through the observation of bee body diagnosis and treatment of bee disease.
People with illness often show dementia, slow reaction, loss of energy, inability to take off, look uneasy, perch on one side or crawl slowly inside and outside the box.
Head. Healthy bees move their heads freely, and when they shake their heads and tickle, there may be parasites such as bee mites.
Wing. Healthy bees have intact wings, open and close freely, fly freely, diseased bees have incomplete wings, or flutter and tremble, lose the ability to fly, some young bees have curly wings, most of them suffer from curly wing disease, and the incomplete wings are mostly caused by bee mites.
Feet. 6 feet of healthy bees are flexible and crawl quickly; if the feet are numb, stiff, slow or unable to crawl, most of them suffer from paralysis.
Back and abdomen. The back and abdomen of healthy bees are densely fluffy, and its links can stretch rhythmically, bright color and dry body surface. The abdomen of the diseased bees is dilated or shrunk, can not stretch freely, the hair falls off, the hair color darkens or blackens, and the body surface is moist, sometimes like oil immersion, which is a typical symptom of paralysis.
Dead bees. Healthy bees generally do not die in the hive and rarely around the hive. If a large number of dead bees are found at the bottom of the box during the overwintering period, and the color of the bee becomes dark, soft and smelly, it is likely to be caused by typhoid or hemorrhagic disease. If dead bees are found around the beehive and their wings turn back and their bellies bend inward during the honey season, it is caused by pesticide poisoning.
