Last Updated: 2024/11/05, The hive stores some spare queen bees, which can replace the aging and injured queen bee at any time, or replenish the lost queen bee at any time. There are two ways of storage: in-group storage and out-of-nest storage. The main results are as follows: (1) it is most convenient to store queen bees in mating colony. When the new queen bee in the mating group begins to lay eggs for a week or so, it is locked in a rectangular iron gauze platform and embedded in the spleen of the mating group. At the same time, it lures the group into a mature king platform. A similar method can be used to store the queen bee in the relay box of the strong group.

The queen bee is confined to the nest box with a partition board, and then the iron gauze king cage with the spawning king is embedded on the spleen of the nest near the center of the relay box. During the active season, a strong colony can store more than 10 spawning queen bees.

(2) the king of storage outside the nest makes a miniature relay box with an inner circumference of 70mm square and a height of 70mm with two small nest frames, one with honey spleen and the other with a lid. Use two 90 mm square boards to make the bottom and cover, shake into the micro relay box 50-100 young bees, put the queen bee, secure the bottom and cover with two rubber bands, and put it in a dark, ventilated cupboard. The young bees are replaced every 20-30 days. The replacement method is to put a miniature relay box containing a small honey spleen and a small spleen into the baby bee, add it to the small relay box where the queen bee is stored, and move the lid to it. Soon the queen bee climbed into the small trunk above and removed the trunk below.
