Characteristics: indica precocious hybrids. The seedling stage is more cold-tolerant, the tillering ability is medium, and the later stage is resistant to high temperature. The plant height is about 100 cm, the effective panicle is 180,000 to 200,000 ears per mu, the grain setting rate is more than 80%, and the 1000-grain weight is 27 grams. Brown rice rate 79.8%, milled rice rate 73%, head rice rate 59.9%, ratio of length to width 2.2, chalkiness 7%, transparency grade 2, gel consistency 54 mm, amylose content 24.8%, protein content 9.5%. The whole growth period of early rice in South China is 128 days, which is basically the same as that of Shanyou 64. High yield, good rice quality and wide adaptability. Medium resistance to bacterial blight and susceptibility to rice blast. In the regional trial of medium rice in the southern rice region from 1995 to 1996, the average yield per mu was 504 kg, 8% higher than that of the control Weiyou 64.

Key points of cultivation: sowing early rice in the first and middle of March, the seedling age is about 30 days; the planting specification is 16.7 cm X 20 cm or 20 cm X 20 cm, with 1-2 seeds per hole; apply sufficient base fertilizer and apply topdressing early. Honda applied 10 kg of pure nitrogen, and the ratio of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium was 1: 0.4: 0.5.
