Raw gypsum powder can control physiological bacterial blight of rice
Rice physiological bacterial blight often occurs in cold soaked fields in Shanchong and unripe paddy fields with organic green manure. The disease often occurs at the tillering stage of rice, which shows that there are few tillers of rice, the leaves turn yellowish brown, and there are irregular tea brown spots on one or two leaves at the base, and some are mistaken for leaf rice blast. Pull out the grass, the root system is yellowish brown, the heavy is black, and the seedlings are not long, as the saying goes, "Fa Qiu".
There are three main reasons for the occurrence of physiological red blight: first, hydrogen sulfide and other toxic substances are produced during the decomposition of green manure; second, rust water from some cold-soaked fields contains toxic substances; third, soil acidity is too heavy, soil consolidation, irrigation is too deep, poor ventilation.
To control physiological bacterial blight of rice, in addition to rational fertilization and scientific water management, the light ones were sprinkled with 75 kilograms of fire soil ash per mu and 10 kilograms of raw gypsum powder per mu, which could be effective after 8 days. Because the raw gypsum powder can decompose the toxic substances in the soil, neutralize the acidity of the soil, promote the formation of soil aggregate structure, and improve the soil aeration conditions, the seedlings will soon grow new roots and return to normal growth.
