How to deal with low hatchability of female turtles

Through practice, it has been found that there are differences in the development time between the sexes of many animals in nature. in general, the female gonads mature earlier and the male gonads mature later. The same is true of turtles, early sexual maturity in females and late sexual maturity in males, which affects the lack of effective mating between sexually mature females and males, resulting in a low fertilization rate of turtle eggs.

In view of this characteristic of turtles, measures such as adjusting the sex ratio of male and female turtles, raising them in dislocation, and increasing nutritional additives for male turtles can effectively improve the hatching rate.
