Harvesting and processing methods of Trionyx sinensis
In zoology, the soft-shelled turtle belongs to the insects of Insecta, winged subclass and Blattella. There are many kinds of soft-shelled turtles. According to the literature records, there are Chinese soft-shelled turtle, Hebei soft-shelled turtle, Xizang soft-shelled turtle, Yunnan soft-shelled turtle and Phnom Penh soft-shelled turtle. At present, the main artificial breeding is the Chinese soft-shelled turtle, Hebei soft-shelled turtle.
Trionyx sinensis is a traditional Chinese medicine. The first edition of Shennong Materia Medica Sutra: "Cold and hot washing of the main heart, hematocele, broken firmness, lower blood blockage". The Compendium of Materia Medica records: "Postpartum hematocele, bruise and blood stasis, treatment of severe tongue, mouth sores, and children's abdominal pain cry at night." "classified herbal medicine" said: "treatment of falls and injuries, rheumatic pain, swelling, and so on." It is mainly used for women with blood stasis amenorrhea, abdominal pain, fall injury and blood stasis hematoma. The ingredients of Trionyx sinensis in proprietary Chinese medicine, such as Dieda pills, Zhishang Powder, Qili Powder, Xiaozhong Ointment, Baiyao, etc. At present, it has been found that Trionyx sinensis has the function of anticancer.
Harvest. The male nymphs of soft-shelled turtles can be harvested when they are castrated, and the aged female nymphs and adults are the main objects of harvest. When the feeding density reaches a certain number, in addition to leaving enough eggs to lay eggs, it can be harvested in large quantities according to the actual situation. Generally, 911-year-old female nymphs are the heaviest, with a drying rate of 38% / 41%, and there are about 800 / 1000 dry nymphs per 500 grams, which is the most cost-effective. When the male nymph is 8 years old, the drying rate is 30%-33%, and there are about 2000 dry nymphs per 500g. Except for 5% of the males for mating, all the other males (about 30% of the total) were picked out so as not to be unsuitable for medicinal purposes. Newly mature female nymphs enter the peak period of oviposition immediately after mating, and should not be harvested in batches, especially before mid-August, because the oviposition sheaths can hatch in the same year, they should strive for the number of eggs as far as possible and should not be harvested. For the female nymphs that have passed the peak period of spawning, the body begins to age and can be harvested in combination with egg collection. After mid-August to before overwintering, all female adults that have laid eggs in a year shall be harvested successively according to the spawning batch. In order to avoid mass death due to the weakness of the insect during the overwintering period.
Processing. The processing of soft-shelled turtle worms must choose sunny weather to avoid mildew and deterioration of the insects. The method of drying in the sun is relatively simple, first wash away the sediment with clean water, and then burn the turtles to death with boiling water. Then expose it to the sun for 3 to 4 days to achieve a dry body without impurities. When processing soft-shelled turtles, we must pay attention to scalding and drying. Before processing, it is necessary to stop eating for half a day to a day, so that the food eaten is completely digested before processing. If there is residual food in the abdomen, it is easy to mildew and rot after processing, affecting the efficacy. The soft-shelled turtle worm can also be broiled with wine and then used as medicine. every kilogram of soft-shelled turtle worm can be mixed well with 100 grams or 200 grams of yellow rice wine and dried for use.

In recent years, with the increasing intensity of aquaculture, the incidence of fish hepatobiliary syndrome is getting higher and higher. Hepatobiliary syndrome can occur in all kinds of farmed fish, especially carp and grass carp, and the incidence of adult fish is generally high. There are many causes of hepatobiliary syndrome in fish, which can be summed up in the following aspects. ⑴ pathogenic microorganism infection.
