Disease control of soft-shelled turtle-red floor disease

Last Updated: 2024/11/22, Etiology: caused by Aeromonas punctata infection. Symptoms: the diseased soft-shelled turtle is slow to respond to the outside world, and the most obvious symptom of the disease is that the whole floor is red and swollen or erythematous, accompanied by ulceration and edema. Some soft-shelled turtle mouth and nose bleeding, anatomy showed serious liver lesions; some are black; some are speckled, local or whole intestinal congestion and inflammation; some abdominal cavity has stagnant water. Prevention and control: 1) control the stocking density; 2) improve the bottom quality of the pond and thoroughly clear the pond at the end of production.

Symptoms: The disease is slow to respond to the outside world. The most obvious symptoms of the disease are redness or erythema of the whole bottom plate, accompanied by ulceration and edema. Some turtle mouth and nose bleeding, anatomy can be seen serious liver lesions; some black; some were spotted, intestinal local or whole congestion inflammation; some abdominal water.

Prevention:

1) controlling stocking density;

2) Improve bottom quality and clear pond thoroughly at the end of production;

3) Vaccination against bacterial diseases of freshwater fish;

4) Sprinkle the whole pond with "Yujunqing series disinfectant" or "Yuyong Bomie" or "Mieduling" for disinfection, and feed "Qiangke 103,""Qiangke 99" or "Biebikang" for 3~5 days;

5) Soak the diseased turtle in 2ppm "medicated bath".
