Yudou 24 is a mid-mature summer soybean variety with an average growth period of 104 days in Henan Province. Limited podding habit, plant height 70 cm, more resistant to lodging, 1-3 effective branches per plant. Leaves oval, medium size, dark green; purple flowers, gray velvet, brown pods after maturity, seeds yellow, navel light brown. There are about 46 effective pods per plant and the weight of 100 seeds is 22.2 grams.

This variety participated in the soybean variety regional trial in Henan Province from 1993 to 1994. The yield per mu was 115.8 to 251.6 kg, with an average yield of 179.8 kg per mu in two years, which was 17.29% higher than that of the control GS Yudou 8. From 1996 to 1997, it participated in the soybean variety production test in Henan Province. The average yield per mu in two years was 173.5 kg, and the highest yield per mu was 255.4 kg, which was 10.2% higher than that of the control GS Yudou 8.

According to the laboratory analysis of the Agricultural products quality Supervision, Inspection and Test Center of the Ministry of Agriculture, the protein content of the variety is 45.68%, and the fat content is 18.36%, with a total of 64.04%, reaching the quality target set by the state. According to the resistance identification of the Institute of Plant Protection of Henan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Yudou 24 had strong resistance to the main soybean diseases and insect pests in Huang-Huai region: resistance to soybean mosaic virus, soybean disease green disease, soybean purple spot and soybean heart borer.

Cultivation rules:
