Characteristics: this variety belongs to japonica three-line hybrid rice. the whole growth period is 155.2 days in southern Liaoning, southern Xinjiang and Beijing and Tianjin, which is 2 days later than that of Jinzhu 1. The plant height is 106.2 cm, the total number of grains per panicle is 143.2, the seed setting rate is 84.6%, and the 1000-grain weight is 26.9g. Rice blast is grade 3. Main indicators of rice quality: head rice rate 66.9%, chalky rice rate 61%, chalkiness 16.9%, gel consistency 82mm, amylose content 16.3%.

Yield performance: in 2001, participated in the regional trial of Jinzhu 1 group in northern rice region, the average yield per mu was 695kg, which was 13.1% higher than that of the control Jinzhu 1 (extremely significant); in 2002, the average yield per mu was 686.7 kg, which was 9.2% higher than that of the control Jinzhu 1 (not significant). In the two-year regional trial, the average yield per mu was 690.9 kg, which was 11.1% higher than that of Jinzhu 1. In the production test in 2003, the average yield per mu was 592 kg, 0.4% higher than that of the control Jinzhu 1.

Main points of cultivation techniques: 1. Sowing: sowing at the same time as Jinzhu No. 1 according to local planting habits; 2. Transplanting: transplanting specifications of 33.3 × 16.6 cm or double rows of large ridges (40 × 26.6) × 16.6 cm, 3-4 seedlings per hole; 3.
