Source of variety: hybrid japonica rice combination formed by rice institute of Anhui Province Academy of Agricultural Sciences and seed company of Anhui Province with Liuqixin A× HP121.
Approval status: Anhui Province Crop Variety Approval Committee approved in 1998.
Characteristics: The plant height of this combination is 105 cm, the stem is thick, the leaves are lifted up, the tillering ability is strong, the total number of grains per panicle is about 140, the seed setting rate is about 80%, the 1000-grain weight is 26 g, and the average yield per mu is 500 kg. In 1995, it was rated as high quality rice in Anhui Province. The whole growth period is 144 days, moderately resistant to rice blast and bacterial blight. It is suitable for planting medium japonica rice in one season rice area of our province.
