In order to adapt to the consumption trend of fishery products at home and abroad and ensure the quality and safety of fishery products, the Ministry of Agriculture has started the certification of pollution-free fishery products since 2004. the theme of the work is also basically around the word "fast". By June this year, more than 4000 products from 2500 enterprises across the country had been certified as pollution-free. However, with the in-depth development of certification work, some new problems are gradually exposed. Especially for those who apply for certification in the organizational form of "companies (associations, institutions, etc.) + farmers", due to the lack of effective management measures for farmers, it increases the difficulty of certification and affects the process of certification.
At the national work conference on green food for pollution-free agricultural products held a few days ago, "sound and rapid development" was identified as the theme of the certification of pollution-free agricultural products in the future. Through this exchange seminar, the Fisheries Sub-Center of the Agricultural products quality and Safety Center of the Ministry of Agriculture intends to extensively solicit opinions, strive for the promulgation of the "requirements for Certification Declaration and Review of pollution-free Fishery products" by the end of the year, and at the same time begin to draft a certification scheme for fishing products.
