Skills for distinguishing the quality of fish
The quality of pellet feed for fish is closely related to the benefit of culture, which should be paid close attention to. Its quality is mainly judged by five aspects, such as "one look, two smell, three twist, four bubbles, five chewing" and so on.
It can be seen that the pellet feed for fish is made of several main raw materials such as fish meal, soybean meal, cotton meal, rapeseed meal, secondary meal, meat and bone meal and so on. If there are more fishmeal and soybean meal, the material color is slightly yellow; when there are more miscellaneous meal, the material color is dark red; when there is more secondary powder, the material color is slightly gray, and so on.
Erwen pellet fish feed is made by mixing all kinds of raw materials and ripening by steam conditioning. When the raw material is aged, it will give off a unique fragrance. Pick up a handful of feed that has just been opened and put it in front of your nose to smell it. You can find that there is no mildew, bitterness and burning taste.
The three-twist fish feed needs to be transported many times from production to feeding, which objectively requires a certain mechanical strength. In general, you can twist it with your fingers for a few times without breaking it. If a twist is broken, it shows that the feed hardness is not enough, the pulverization rate is high, which is easy to cause feed waste; too hard, poor palatability, affect the absorption of feed in the digestive tract, easy to cause the occurrence of fish enteritis.
Four bubbles put the feed into the water to soak, on the one hand, you can check whether the physical properties of the feed can meet the needs of the digestive tract of fish, on the other hand, you can also analyze the general composition of the raw materials. The method is to grab a handful of feed into the water and observe the time when the feed is dispersed. The general feed is dispersed completely after 3 to 5 minutes.
Although the five chewing fish feed is swallowed, but the taste is the main factor affecting their feeding behavior. Through the sense of touch and taste of our mouth, we can feel the hardness and odor of the grain, whether the feed has gone bad, whether the feed is mixed with impurities (such as sand, soil), and so on.
