Shandou 125 (soybean)
High quality soybean Shandou 125 is a new soybean variety selected by genealogical method by School of Agriculture, Northwest University of Agriculture and Forestry in 1988. the original line code is 88125-3-7-4.
In 1988, So-3-4 was used as female parent and Japanese variety Ri 9-11 as male parent. 21 seeds of F1 generation were harvested in that year. The F1 generation was planted in 1989, which showed early maturity and good disease resistance. After eliminating pseudo-hybrids, 16 plants were harvested neatly and consistently. The F2 generation was planted in 1990 with large separation and many types. Among them, 19 excellent individual plants were selected and harvested. In 1991, the seeds of selected F2 individual plants were sown on demand, and excellent individual plants were selected, and the selected strains were 88125-3-7 and so on. The F4 generation was planted in 1992, and the excellent individual plants selected were 88125-3-7-4 and so on. Planting observation in 1993 showed that 88125-3-7-4 had limited podding habits, compact plant type, early mid-maturity, good high yield and strong disease resistance. The strains are neat and consistent, and mixed according to the lines. It was promoted to the appraisal nursery in 1994 and the quality comparison test was carried out. Participated in the internal product comparison test from 1994 to 1997, participated in the soybean regional trial in Shaanxi Province from 1998 to 1999, and participated in the soybean production test in Shaanxi Province in 1999.
The growth period of Shaandou 125 in summer and spring sowing in Guanzhong area of Shaanxi Province are 90-100 days and 110-120 days respectively. Limited podding habit, plant height 60~7Ocm, main stem 11-12 nodes, effective branches 4-5, white flowers, round leaves, gray hairs, 60 pods per plant, mostly 2 pods. The seeds are light yellow, nearly round, glossy, navel light brown, and 100 grains weigh 22,24g. The plant shape converges, the adult plant is spindle-shaped, the culm is hard and resistant to lodging, and the leaves are deciduous at maturity. According to the field resistance identification of Shaanxi Provincial Plant Protection Institute, Shaandou 125 was highly resistant to soybean gray leaf spot and virus. Shaanxi Loess Plateau Agricultural Test Center determined that 125 seeds of Shaanxi beans contain 43.95% protein and 20.55% fat, which belong to double high-quality soybeans.
In the variety comparison test from 1994 to 1997, the average yield of 4389kg/hm2 was 23.0% higher than that of the control Qindou 8. In 1998, the average yield of soybean in Shaanxi Province was 2239.5kg/hm2, which was 15.4% higher than that of Qindou 8, which was higher than that of Qindou 8, which was 15.4% higher than that of Qindou 8. In 1999, the average yield was 2001kg/hm2, which was 8.8% higher than that of Qindou 8, and the average yield of two years was 2121kg/hm2, an increase of 12.2%. In 1999, the average yield of soybean in Shaanxi Province was 2341.5kg/hm2, which was 26.6% higher than that of the control Qindou 8, ranking first in the experiment. In 1999, 4.67hm2 was planted in Yangcun Township, Yangling District, and the yield was 2617.5kg/hm2. In the same year, 6.67hm2 was planted in Zhongzhang Town, Jingyang County, with an average yield of 2625kg/hm2. Since 2000, it has been widely popularized in Huayang, Pucheng, Shanxi Yuncheng and other places, generally showing prosperous growth, many pods and strong resistance. The output reaches 3750kg/hm2 in some places.

Region and technology Shaandou 125 is suitable for planting in Shaanxi Guanzhong, Shangluo, Yan'an, Shanxi Yuncheng and similar ecological areas. This variety belongs to branched high-yield variety, seedling protection 100000 ~ 150000 plants / hm2, row spacing 45~5Ocm, plant spacing 15~20cm. The sowing time is from mid-April to mid-June. Sowing rate 40~6Okg/hm2, heavy application of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer and light application of nitrogen fertilizer should be applied in the upper and medium fertility fields, while nitrogen fertilizer should be mainly applied in the low fertilizer fields. Pay attention to field management and timely prevention and control of diseases and insect pests.

Shennong 6 (soybean)
[basic situation] Shennong 6 (original serial number Shennong 91-44) was selected by Department of Agronomy of Shenyang Agricultural University in 1986 with Fengjiao 66-12 as female parent and Kaiyu 8 as male parent. Since Shennong 6 was introduced to Pulandian City in 1996, it has been tested by different years and different climatic conditions (low temperature, low light, high temperature and drought). It has shown high yield, stable yield, disease resistance and lodging resistance, with an average yield increase of 18.7% to 24.7% compared with the control. in order to make Shennong 6 excellent species.
