II. Plant characteristics

Perennial herbs. Stem erect, 30-100cm tall, longitudinally striated or angularly prismatic. There are recumbent fleshy roots and roots in the ground. Palmately compound leaves 3-5 whorled at the top of the stem, 5-7 leaflets, ovoid or lanceolate, leaf margin serrate, densely tomentose along the veins, scattered inflorescences, solitary at the top of the total flower stalk, with numerous florets. III. Ecological characteristics
