In order to improve the land utilization rate and increase farmers' income, several intercropping models with potato as the main varieties are introduced, which can be used as a reference for farmers and leading comrades at the grass-roots level in the adjustment of agricultural structure.

1. Potato, cotton, potato sprouted in late January, sowed in mid-late February, and cultivated with plastic film mulching. The virus-free potato Zhengyin No. 5 and Zhengyin No. 7 selected by Zhengzhou Fruit Tree Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences was selected, and the cotton variety was suitable for selecting big disease-resistant standard hybrid A1. Potato is planted according to high ridge and double row, wide row 80cm, narrow row 40cm, plant spacing 20cm~25cm, plant spacing 4500 plants per mu, and cotton planting about 2500 plants per mu according to row spacing 120cm, plant spacing 20cm. Cotton seedlings were raised in nutrient bowls, sown on March 20 and planted around April 20. The symbiotic period of cotton and potato is 35-40 days, which does not affect each other. 2. Potato corn potato model has the advantages of compact stubble arrangement and full use of land. Disadvantages: the corn has grown tall when the spring potato is harvested, and it is inconvenient to harvest and transport. The sowing rate of this model is 120cm, and the plant distance of potato is 20cm~25cm. Because the row spacing of maize is enlarged, the plant spacing should be reduced to 15cm~20cm. Each mu is sown with 4000mu of potato and 2500mu of corn. Potato was cultivated with plastic film mulching, sowed in mid-late February or early March and harvested at the end of May; corn was sown around April 20 and harvested in August. Prepare the soil in time after corn harvest, and sow autumn potatoes in mid-August. 3. Potato seedless watermelon potato adopts the cultivation mode of 4 rows of potatoes and 1 row of watermelons in spring, that is, leaving a reserved row every two ridges, ridging and making watermelons according to the width of 100cm. Autumn potatoes are planted after watermelon is harvested. The sowing time and density of potatoes are the same as above, and watermelons are planted with 500,600 plants per mu. Watermelon began to grow seedlings from late March to early April, transplanted from the end of April to early May, harvested in mid-late July, and planted autumn potatoes in mid-late August. 4. Potato seedless watermelon cauliflower (cabbage, celery) this model is basically the same as the third model, except that autumn potatoes are replaced by cauliflower and so on. Watermelons were harvested at the end of July, cauliflower seedlings were raised in mid-July, transplanted in early August and harvested in November. Using the above planting mode, due to the increase of multiple cropping index, it is necessary to apply more fertilizer and more watering. The brief introduction of potato variety Zhengyin No. 5 is as follows: this variety matures early, the growth period is 60-63 days, the yield is 2000-2500kg per mu, and the yield is 4000 kg per mu in high fertilizer and water land. There are 3-4 tubers per plant, and most of them weigh 200-250 grams. The tuber is oval, yellow flesh, smooth potato skin, shallow and sparse bud eyes and high commodity rate, so it is suitable for cultivation in the second cropping area. Zhengyin 7: this variety is very precocious, the growth period is 50-60 days, the yield per mu is 2000-2500kg in spring and more than 1500 kg per mu in autumn. It has 2-3 tubers per plant, with oblong tuber, yellow flesh and shallow bud eyes, which is suitable for export. It is one of the best precocious varieties at present. Zhengyin No. 9: this variety is a special processing variety exclusively introduced by Zhenglong Company. Tuber between round and oblong, yellow skin and white meat, slightly reticulated starch content of 18%, reducing sugar content of 0.03%-0.15%, suitable for processing potato chips. The average yield per mu is about 1500 kilograms. If it is planted in pieces, the company will be responsible for recycling.
