Characteristics: This variety belongs to japonica conventional rice variety. The average whole growth period of planting in northeast and northwest late-maturing rice areas is 154.7 days, which is 3 days later than that of control Qiuguang. Plant height 100 cm, tillering ability is strong, plant type loose, leaves drooping, scattered panicle type, with dense grains, glume yellow white, no awns. The total number of grains per panicle was 80.5, seed setting rate 82.4%, 1000-grain weight 26.2 g. Resistance: seedling blast 3, leaf blast 5, ear blast 5. Main rice quality indexes: head rice rate 69.6%, chalky rice rate 3.3%, chalkiness 0.2%, gel consistency 88 mm, amylose content 16.7%.

Yield performance: In 2001, the average yield per mu was 584.1 kg, which was 8.3% lower than that of the control Qiuguang, and in 2002, the average yield per mu was 573.1 kg, which was 14.1% lower than that of the control Qiuguang. Cultivation technology points: 1.
