Brown rice rate 82.4%, milled rice rate 76.4%, head milled rice rate 73.5%, chalkiness rate 2.8%, chalkiness 0.1%, transparency grade 1, crude protein 8.79%, amylose content 17.99%, gel consistency 76 mm, gelatinization temperature grade 7. Its palatability is good, rice quality is excellent, rice quality main index reaches the first grade standard issued by the ministry, high yield is good. In Shenyang area, the whole growth period is about 160 days, moderately resistant to rice blast and bacterial blight, lightly susceptible to rice false smut and light sheath blight. In 1996- 1997, the average yield per mu was 474.8 kg, which was 7.9% higher than that of CK. In 1998, the average yield per mu of rice in northern China was 584.11 kg, which was 11.7% higher than that of CK.
