Three aspects of safe and efficient management of pigs in winter
Winter temperature is low, the weather is cold, which is not conducive to the normal growth and development of pigs, but also easy to make pigs sick. Therefore, winter safety should focus on the theme of keeping out of the cold. Specifically, we should grasp the following three aspects:
First, raise the temperature
There are many ways to raise the temperature of the pig house, but there are four simple, economical and practical ways:
The main contents are as follows: 1. The open pig house is covered with plastic film. It is best to cover double-layer plastic film, although the cost is higher than single-layer plastic film, but the heat preservation effect is better. This method is suitable for fattening pig houses and non-lactating sow houses.
2. Boiler heating is carried out in the closed pig workshop.
3. Open pig house heating and plastic film covering.
4. Heating and electric heater are suitable for lactation sow houses.
II. Conditions of pigsty
1. The outer walls of the pigsty should be thick and tight. The back wall, gable wall and front wall of the piggery should be added with thermal insulation facilities in winter. For this reason, crop straw can be stacked and mud adobe can be laid temporarily. It is best to thicken the four outer walls when the piggery is first built. The old piggery should seal the residual gap between the walls, doors and windows in time.
2. The floor of the pig house should be dry and the fecal sewage should be removed and cleaned in time. In order to facilitate drying, the pigsty should be made into cement floor.
3. Add a bed board. In the piggy stage, where there are conditions, it is best to use warm bed boards such as wood, bamboo and thickened fibreboard, and there are no conditions for laying cement precast boards.
4. Enlarge the daylighting area of pig house. When the piggery is first built, the daylighting area of the piggery should be considered. The open pig house should have a larger open area in case it is covered with plastic film in winter to facilitate daylighting. The enclosed piggery should reserve windows on the south wall and roof for the installation of glass in winter.
III. Feeding and management
1. Do not let pigs drink cold water. Boil cold water into warm water and then let pigs drink it.
2. To appropriately improve the energy level in the feed, it can be increased by about 10% on the basis of the original feed energy level. The big pig is lower and the little pig is higher. Piglets can add fat high-energy feed, and big pigs can increase the quantity of common energy feed such as corn in the formula.
3. Increase the density of feeding appropriately. When the feeding density is high, the area of each pig is reduced, and each pig can be considerate to keep warm when lying down. At the same time, when the pig feeding density is high, the heat dissipation of their body also increases, which is beneficial to increase the temperature in the house.
4. Increase the times of feeding. The purpose of increasing feeding times is to relatively increase feed intake in order to fill the weight deficit caused by low temperature in pigs caused by fat and intramuscular metabolic heat production. Where there are conditions, it is best to eat freely. In the place of regular feeding, one more feed can be added in the evening.

How can steamed egg custard make it better?
The protein in the egg solidifies at 60 ℃ to 70 ℃. When steaming, the temperature of the outer layer of the egg will rise rapidly, resulting in a great temperature difference between the inside and outside of the egg. When the egg solidifies, the outer layer is dehydrated into a honeycomb. Therefore, to be a good steamed egg custard, we should master three points: 1. Temperature: stir the eggs in warm water and steam over medium heat after boiling. two。 Time: steam for 8 minutes after boiling. 3. Ratio: the ratio of egg juice to cold water is 1:2. After the water is boiled, put the egg on the steam compartment, and then boil it.

Causes and Comprehensive Control measures of High Fever in Pigs
Recently, many pig farms have consulted about the causes of pig high fever and the technical problems of prevention and treatment. According to my own practical experience, the author puts forward some views for your reference. The cause of porcine high fever is essentially a pig disease caused by immunosuppressive pig disease, which is co-infected with a variety of viruses, bacteria and protozoa. Biological factors: classical swine fever virus, circovirus, blue ear virus, pseudorabies virus, eperythrozoon, toxoplasma, streptococcus, paratyphoid, mycoplasma, actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Haemophilus parasuis, pasteurella, etc.
