3. Increase the feed energy appropriately. Under the conditions of heavy snow and severe cold, the amount of energy and feed needed by pigs increased greatly. Cold weather pregnant sows each day to increase 1 kg of feed, other live pigs (piglets, fat pigs, lactating sows) do not limit feed intake, should be open feeding. You can also increase energy feeds such as corn, wheat and brown rice by 10-15% on the original basis.
4. Strengthen the feeding and management. In particular, it is necessary to strengthen the management of suckling piglets, focusing on preventing frozen piglets and freezing to death, making suckling pigs eat good colostrum, strengthening the replenishment of suckling pigs, strengthening the removal of manure and urine in pig houses, not allowing pig manure and urine to remain in pig houses, and controlling the concentration of harmful gases. Do not exceed the standard.
5. Do a good job in epidemic prevention. In the cold season, the possibility of outbreaks of some viral diseases increases. Pig farms should strengthen the work of immunization. It is necessary to strengthen the prevention and control of infectious gastroenteritis, epidemic diarrhea, foot-and-mouth disease and other epidemic diseases.
