The whole growth period was 104 days, 3.5 days longer than that of the control, 1.45 grade of disease resistance, 0.6 grade lighter than the control, 1.1 grade of lodging resistance, stronger than the control, the complete grain rate reached 90.9%, and the 100-grain weight was 23g, 5.8 higher than the control.

It has few branches (average 1.3), compact plant type, erect growth, limited fruiting habits, white flowers, brown hairs, yellow seed coat, black navel and oval seeds. (3) yield performance: the average yield of this variety was 133.8 kg per mu at 7 points in 1993, an increase of 15.84% over the control (dwarf earlier); at 8 points in 1994, the average yield per mu was 127.0 kg, 16.3% higher than that of the control; and the average yield per mu in two years was 130.4 kg, 16.07% higher than that of the control. In the three-point production test in 1995, the average yield per mu was 126.3 kg, an increase of 24.47% over the control.

(4) suitable planting area: this variety is suitable for planting in and around the basin in our province. It can be used as either net cropping or intercropping.
