Last Updated: 2024/11/06, 1. The so-called transgenic crops use biotechnology to transfer the genes of some organisms to other species, so as to transform the genetic material of organisms to the goals needed by human beings in terms of traits, nutritional quality, consumption quality and so on. In China, genetically modified organisms are still relatively rare. so far, only 6 GM crops have been approved by the Biological Engineering Safety Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture, of which 3 are related to crops, namely, two kinds of tomatoes and one kind of sweet pepper. 2. Recently, soybeans and soybean meal have risen all over the country.

1, the so-called transgenic crops, is the use of biotechnology to transfer the genes of some organisms to other species, so as to transform the genetic material of organisms to the goals needed by human beings in terms of traits, nutritional quality, consumption quality and so on. In China, genetically modified organisms are still relatively rare. so far, only 6 GM crops have been approved by the Biological Engineering Safety Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture, of which 3 are related to crops, namely, two kinds of tomatoes and one kind of sweet pepper.

   2. Recently, news of the overall price increase of soybeans and soybean meal has been spread frequently all over the country. According to the analysis of relevant people, the spot price of domestic soybeans will still show a steady upward trend in the near future, for the following reasons.

domestic soybean stocks declined. The soybean stock in Heilongjiang Province, which is the main soybean producing area in China, directly affects the price of domestic soybean. The stock of soybeans in Heilongjiang Province was 3.37 million tons at the end of January and by the end of February, the stock of new beans in 2001 was 2.7 million tons, a decrease of 670000 tons. Excluding consumption, consumption and oil extraction in the province, less than 1 million tons of soybeans can be supplied to oil plants in other provinces in Heilongjiang Province. the port inventory is less than 1 million tons. As a result, there is a shortage of domestic soybeans for crushing in oil plants, and the inventory is reduced.

The imported soybeans of    are out of gear. According to relevant import data, China's import of soybeans from the United States has been stopped by the end of February, regardless of whether the approval time for genetically modified safety certificates is shortened or not, the arrival of imported soybeans at the port will be out of service for more than one month. According to China's regulations on the inspection of imported commodities, it takes more than 15 days for imported soybeans to arrive at Hong Kong and pick up the goods. Therefore, the newly imported soybeans will not be put into use until the middle of May at the earliest.
