1. Variety source: Heihe 26, a new soybean variety with high yield, was bred by Agricultural Science Research Institute of Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province, and was approved and popularized by the National Variety examination and approval Committee in 2001.

4. Cultivation points: this variety belongs to luxuriant and high-yield type, which is suitable for 60--70cm ridge and three planting, and protects seedlings about 300000 plants per hectare.
5. Suitable area: this variety is suitable for planting in the third and fourth transitional temperate zones in Heilongjiang Province, as well as in Dunhua City, Shanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Bashang area and Northern Xinjiang.

Characteristics: White flowers, long leaves, plant type convergence, sub-finite podding habits. The average growth period is 116 days, the plant height is 59.1 cm, the number of effective pods per plant is 25.1, and the weight of 100 seeds is 20.5 grams. Deciduous leaves and slightly dehiscent pods at maturity. Testa yellow, yellow navel, seeds round.
