Why do soybeans spend but not bear fruit?
Xiaonan District Xinpu Town Xihe farmers Liu Dezheng and Xiaogang Town and other places some farmers asked: This year's soybean (soybean) why flowering does not bear pods or appear empty pods shriveled seeds?
According to our field survey, in fact, most of this year's soybeans are fruiting, and true flowering without pods or empty pods are local and a few farmers. Through field investigation and analysis, there are mainly the following reasons.
First, look at the species. This year's early and mid-maturing varieties generally bloom and bear pods well, while some late-maturing varieties have flowers without pods or empty pods and shriveled seeds. This is because soybean flowering and pod setting period, is hit by late July to mid-August sustained high temperature drought, temperature as high as 38-40℃. The suitable flowering temperature of soybean is 22-30℃, and the suitable relative humidity is 70-90%. Beyond this range, soybean will not flower or flower less, or flower but not bear fruit. At the same time, soybean is a short-day crop, if the short-day requirements are not met, flower bud differentiation will also stop.
Second, soybeans are crops that avoid continuous cropping. Some farmers planted soybean fields last year and planted soybeans this year. Due to the lack of nutrients in the soil, especially boron deficiency, empty pods and shriveled seeds often appear.
Third, a large number of elements out of proportion. In the soybean fields with partial nitrogen fertilizer and no potassium and phosphorus fertilizer, empty pods and shriveled seeds were more common. Due to lack of fertilizer and drought, the flower primitive body can be transformed into leaf bud.
Fourth, grass barren hardening, poor drainage also caused empty pods shriveled. Some farmers have not hoed the grass once after sowing soybeans, and the weeds grow taller than soybeans. Some fields or lots are seriously damaged by dodder seeds. One dodder seed entwines about 100 soybeans, and the damaged soybeans basically have no harvest. Some poorly drained fields, soil hardening, pod production is also greatly reduced.
Therefore, we should sum up experience and lessons, and do a good job of prevention as early as possible in the coming year. First, we should select soybean varieties suitable for local growth and development, recognize the brand of soybean when purchasing seeds, and ask for and keep the purchase invoice; Second, we should pay attention to crop rotation and avoid continuous cropping; Third, we should pay attention to the formulation of base fertilizer, especially to prevent partial application of nitrogen fertilizer, and must apply phosphorus and potassium fertilizer; Fourth, we should carefully prepare the soil and sow, apply chemical herbicides, and control diseases and insect pests; Fifthly, it is necessary to improve irrigation and drainage facilities so that soybean fields can be irrigated and irrigated, so as to ensure that soybean flowering and pod setting period is "dry and wet".

Technical regulation of soybean thin-planting and high-yield cultivation?
1. Select special varieties: select branched varieties, tall and luxuriant plants, strong culms, long flowering period, large flower clusters, high pod setting rate, high fertilizer and water tolerance, medium or late maturity varieties. II. Land selection and tillage fertilization: select plain land with high soil organic matter content and good water condition, and the same fertility plot of the right crop land. The best preceding crop is corn crop, and organic fertilizer should be added. 3. Sowing: Select seeds. Pest-free, even-sized, plump seeds. The sowing period is generally stable at 5 cm
