Last Updated: 2024/11/06, Many dog owners find that their dogs often engage in inexplicable behaviors-such as whining, urinating, biting furniture and shoes-that are primitive behaviors of dogs, not bad habits that we humans see. Because of their primitive behavior habits and our modern life often produce a lot of contradictions, for us to create a lot of inconvenience, but also many dogs because of these behavioral problems and abandoned, this is very regrettable. Help us step into dog training

Many friends who keep dogs find that their dogs often do some inexplicable behaviors-such as whispering, defecating everywhere, often biting through furniture and shoes, and so on. In fact, this is the original behavior of dogs. It's not a bad habit in our eyes.

It is a great pity that their primitive behavior habits often have many contradictions with our modern life, causing us a lot of inconvenience and causing many dogs to be abandoned because of these behavior problems.

To help us step into the threshold of dog training, we must first understand the behavior of dogs and their psychology. Only in this way can we have a better understanding of the psychological and physical behavior of our dogs.

There are different behaviors at different stages

Dogs and wolves share nine natural behaviors and five different growth processes, and there are some different behaviors in these five different growth processes. The five different stages of growth are divided into:

1. The time is from birth to the 13th day (newborn)

Puppies can only live in nests and be cared for by bitches. Based on their low visual, auditory and brain development, the range of activity is low and small, and they do not change until they enter the second stage of growth on the 13th day after birth.

2. The time is from the 13th to the 20th day after birth (transitional period).

Excessive period means that dogs transition from being completely cared for on the 13th day of birth to being able to take care of themselves, and their motor nerves begin to develop and respond to the outside world, so their activity increases. Therefore, puppies are often seen crawling around the nest at this stage.

Why do puppies begin to have the ability to take care of themselves? because they are hungry, they will crawl to the bitches to find breast milk to satisfy their hunger. When they feel cold, they will climb to the bitches to keep warm, and when they feel hot, they will climb away from the bitches to cool themselves down.

3. The time is from the third week to the twelfth week after birth (social period)

Puppies' exposure to different things at this stage has a great impact on their future development, especially their character and character, and seven to eight weeks is the best time for dogs to live and learn with their own kind. So experts have made a research report that if puppies come into contact with people or other dogs from the fourth month after birth, they will have two different reactions.

(1), fear; (2), ferocious; so the early contact of dogs with their own kind is of great help to their character.

4. Time from 12th week of birth to puberty (adolescence)

At this stage, young wild dogs and wolves begin to learn to hunt and take care of themselves, but our domestic dogs are fed by their owners. so at this stage, the behavior of domestic dogs is completely different from that of their ancestors, and their foraging habits can be said to be completely dominated by humans.

But at this stage, remember to carefully deal with the puppy's behavior habits and learning procedures, any mistakes, the dog's nine original habits will reappear, and create a lot of trouble for our lives.

5. from the beginning of the female dog's ability to conceive the next generation and the male's ability to mate to the end of life (from growth to end of life)

At this stage, the majestic wild males and wild dogs will become the leaders of the group, replacing the older generation, and the females will begin to give birth to the next generation, at this stage, both males and females have learned to take full care of themselves and the next generation, and males begin to give birth to the next generation, at this stage, both males and females have learned to take full care of themselves and the next generation, but today's domestic dogs At this stage, we are still asked to take care of them many times.

The best time to study begins in two months.

In fact, the best time for dogs to learn is from eight weeks. If dogs are trained after four months, many of their original habits will reappear and cause a lot of trouble in our daily life.

However, for a friend of mine who has experience in raising dogs, training his own dogs from this time can still solve the problem, but it is very difficult for some friends who raise dogs for the first time, because they are not familiar with how to take care of their dogs and how to train their own dogs.

So if friends who raise dogs for the first time really want to start training their dogs at this stage, please consult an experienced friend or professional dog trainer.

Traditional dog training methods destroy the mind of puppies

In fact, the best training time for dogs is different from our previous theory of teaching dogs. Our instructor who used to teach dogs suggested to us that the best training period for dogs is ten months old, because the traditional method of dog training was used in the past, and a lot of corporal punishment was used when teaching dogs. Dogs can only receive this kind of training physically and mentally when they are only ten months old.

So twenty years ago, many dog trainers used to say that dogs were trained to defecate when they were less than ten months younger, which was destroying dogs. Because the traditional dog training method will completely destroy the puppy's mind and courage.

I didn't send it to training until I was five or six months old.

Today's dog training skills are very different from those in the past, and many experts have developed many new dog training methods, if people can abandon the traditional dog training methods, and the dog owners themselves have a certain understanding of dogs. In this way, I also agree that the best training period for dogs begins in eight weeks.

However, if the owner does not want to teach the dog himself, but sends the dog to the training ground for training, I suggest that the dog complete all vaccinations first and wait until the dog is five to six months old before sending the dog to the training ground for training.
