China has become a leader in licorice research and development.
A few days ago, it was learned from the inaugural meeting of the Professional Committee of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the World Federation of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the International Symposium on Traditional Chinese Medicine that China has successfully applied chiral catalytic technology to the purification of effective components of licorice, and increased it from 3% to 97%, greatly saving medicinal materials. At the same time, following the recent emergence of a new class of drugs, chiral liver medicine "Tianqing Ganmei", it shows that China has occupied a leading position in the world in the research and development and innovation of licorice preparations.
Chiral technology is to scientifically adjust the chemical structure of drugs, so as to eliminate ineffective or harmful ingredients in drugs, so that the effective ingredients of drugs are purer, the toxic side effects are smaller, the curative effect is faster, and the course of treatment is shorter. Liquoric root is widely distributed in China, known as "national grass", and is also a widely used raw material medicine for medicinal and edible purposes at home and abroad.
Tao Huiqi, president of Jiangsu Zhengda Tianqing Pharmaceutical, introduced that Zhengda Tianqing Pharmaceutical has devoted itself to the development and research of licorice for 20 years and has reached several domestic leaders: the first to launch "diammonium glycyrrhizinate" products that are easy to be absorbed by human body; the first to launch "magnesium isoglyrhizinate" products with extremely high purity by chiral technology; and the first to launch "diammonium glycyrrhizinate lipid complex" products that can alleviate the effect of gastric acid on drug efficacy by using phospholipid complex technology. In particular, magnesium isoglyrhizinate product "Tianqing Ganmei", which was included in the national "863" plan, is the first new drug with independent intellectual property rights in the field of anti-inflammatory and liver protection in China.

Root rot of licorice, a medicinal plant
The main symptoms were the rhizome and the root. After the injury, the aboveground stem and leaf gradually yellowed and withered, and the rhizome became yellow-brown to black-brown sunken and festered. Pathogen Fusariumsp. It is called a kind of Fusarium, which belongs to the subphylum Fusarium. The morphological characteristics, transmission routes, disease conditions and control methods of the pathogen can be seen in Astragalus root rot.

Cultivation techniques of interplanting licorice in returning farmland to forest land
Interplanting licorice on the land of returning farmland to forest can not only conserve soil and water, but also increase economic income, so as to achieve the goal of "win-win" of economy and ecology. Since 2002, the 137 regiment has carried out the cultivation experiment of interplanting licorice in the returned farmland, and a breakthrough has been made after several years of attempt and exploration. 1. The land is selected to interplant licorice in the sandy soil with low saline-alkali content, few weeds in the field and good drainage. The main tree species in the sowing area are Lycium barbarum seedlings, and the planting mode is furrow planting.
