Southern woody honeysuckle is a new variety bred by asexual reproduction, purification and rejuvenation of southern woody honeysuckle, which is based on the excellent strain naturally produced in the local large-leaf honeysuckle, and then propagated, purified and rejuvenated. It has the advantages of flower bud, excellent flower quality, high yield, drought and waterlogging resistance, cold and heat resistance, barren soil resistance, good disease resistance, strong adaptability and so on.
First, the characteristics of varieties. This variety is a standing small shrub with strong erect, pruning resistance, many flower branches and short internodes, and good high yield performance. It is generally suitable to plant 160-230 plants per mu. The yield of dry flowers is 280-320 kg per mu, and the high-yield demonstration can reach 400 kg. It can be planted on barren mountain slopes, roadside Weirs, riverside embankments, in front and behind houses, without falling leaves all the year round. It is suitable for planting in Jiangxi, Hubei, Guangxi and other areas where the lowest temperature is not lower than-20 ℃.
Second, cultivation and management. Generally planted in the spring and autumn, dig trapezoidal pits, the edge length of 0.8 meters above, 1.2 meters below, 60 centimeters deep, each pit mixed with 10 kilograms of farm fertilizer and soil fertilizer, in order to facilitate the expansion and growth of the root system. Like peach and plum trees, the row spacing is 2m × 2m in high-yield field and 1m × 2m in hillside. Plant 1 seedling in each hole, press it with fine soil, and then pour fixed root water.
Third, the market prospect. Honeysuckle is one of the ten commonly used bulk medicinal materials in the pharmaceutical market, with an annual output of about 6-7 million kg. The annual demand of the international and domestic markets is more than 18 million kg, and the market prospect is promising.
