Last Updated: 2024/11/05, After the harvest of autumn mushrooms, if we do not take measures to increase temperature and continue to produce winter mushrooms, then the mushroom bed will enter the winter management stage. The management of the mushroom bed in winter will have a great impact on the mushroom harvest in the coming spring. Therefore, we must do a good job in the winter management of the mushroom bed. The main measures are: do a good job in the heat preservation and ventilation of the mushroom room in winter, the room temperature of the mushroom room had better be kept above 3 degrees, do not freeze the room, so as to prevent the mycelium from freezing. In order to maintain this temperature in the mushroom room, it is necessary to check the air leakage on the four walls of the mushroom room before entering winter.

The management of the mushroom bed in winter will have a great impact on the mushroom harvest in the coming spring. Therefore, we must do a good job in the winter management of the mushroom bed. The main measures are:

Do a good job in the heat preservation and ventilation of the mushroom room in winter, the room temperature of the mushroom room had better be kept above 3 degrees, so as not to freeze the room, so as to prevent the mycelium from freezing. In order to maintain this temperature in the mushroom room, before entering winter, the air leakage on the four walls of the mushroom room should be checked and blocked one by one, and the doors and windows should be hung with curtains to prevent the cold wind from invading. At the same time, pay attention to ventilation on warm days. The method of ventilation: open the south window of the mushroom room at noon for two or three hours; if it is warm and windless, and the outdoor temperature is above 8 degrees, you can open both the south and north windows to allow air convection; if the outdoor temperature is lower than 5 degrees at noon, ventilation should be suspended.

How many times of spraying water on mushroom bed and topdressing mushroom bed in winter depends on the degree of dryness and wetness of soil particles, and it is generally enough to keep them moist. To prevent water spraying too often, too much, so that the germinated hyphae suffer frost damage. Topdressing of mushroom bed can be combined with water spraying. The manure water should be filtered with gauze and the concentration is about 20%. You can't chase unfiltered dung onto the bed.

To do a good job of loosening the soil on the bed and removing the old roots should be determined according to the conditions of the mushroom room and the growth of mycelium in the soil layer. If the condition of the mushroom room is good and the mycelium in the soil layer grows vigorously, the fine soil of the mushroom bed can be scraped off, the coarse soil can be loosened, and the loose surface can be larger; if the condition of the mushroom room and the mycelium growth in the soil layer are general, it is not necessary to scrape off the fine soil on the bed and loosen the coarse soil; if the condition of the mushroom room and the mycelium growth in the soil layer are poor, the soil can not be loosened in winter, and the coarse and fine soil will be gently loosened before the mushroom is produced in the spring from March to April next year. However, loosening the coarse and fine soil can not peel off a large number of white hyphae, especially the hyphae wrapped around the coarse soil should be paid more attention. When removing the old roots and dead mushrooms in the mushroom bed, the coarse and fine soil should be paved and paved again. About a week after the last loosening of the soil, when the hyphae have germinated, cover the mushroom bed with a new layer of fine soil, 2cm to 3cm thick. Before covering the soil, it is necessary to spray water combined with topdressing for two or three times to make the coarse soil get water and nutrients to promote the germination and growth of hyphae.
