Jingshi No. 2 (Potato)
Characteristics: luxuriant branches and leaves, stout stems, hypertrophic leaves, thick green. The plant height is 75 cm-80 cm, and there are about 5 branches. Tubers are concentrated, 3 to 5 per plant, long and round in shape, pink in skin, white in meat and deep in bud eyes. The starch content is about 17% and the taste is good. The growth period is from 125 days to 130 days, which belongs to the variety of middle and late maturity. It has strong adaptability, high resistance to late blight and higher resistance to ring rot.
Yield performance: the average yield per mu is 1700 kg-2500 kg.
Key points of cultivation: choose fertile land with deep soil layer and loose texture to plant. The suitable sowing date is the end of April and the beginning of May, leaving 4000-5000 seedlings per mu.
It is suitable for planting in most potato producing areas of Shanxi Province.
