Variety source: vegetable Research Institute of Shandong Academy of Agricultural Sciences used "733" (Anemone × Kexin 2) as female parent and "6302-2-28" (Fortuna × Katahdin) as male parent in 1976, bred in 1980, approved and named by Shandong crop Variety approval Committee in 1986, and popularized in that year.
Main characters: plant type development, medium number of branches, plant height 60~70cm, stem green, medium growth potential; green leaves, medium hairs, large compound leaves, spreading leaf margin, 4 pairs of lateral leaflets, dense and medium arrangement. Inflorescence general peduncle green, petiole node colored, Corolla white, petal tip colorless, no double, stamens yellowish green, stigma 2-3-lobed, style medium long, ovary section colorless, little pollen, no natural fruit, easy to drop buds; tubers oval, top flat, yellowish flesh light yellow, smooth epidermis, medium size and neat, medium number and depth of bud eyes, concentrated tubers. The base of semi-light buds is round and purplish red, and the top of the buds is cymbose, yellowish green and hairy; the tuber has a short dormancy period and is resistant to storage. Precocious, birth days about 60 days, medium steaming quality; processing quality: dry matter 22.2%, starch 13.3%, reducing sugar 0.01%, crude protein 2.08%, vitamin C19.2 mg/100g; anti-wrinkle mosaic virus, resistant to leaf roll virus, more resistant to scab; 667 square meters of output 1500kg, up to 3000kg.
Suitable planting area: suitable for planting in the second cropping area of the Central Plains; mainly distributed in Shandong Province.
