In addition to being rich in nutrients, this rice also contains hyaluronic acid, which lowers blood pressure, in its embryo. "The breeding technology of this rice is relatively mature and is currently in the stage of expanding reproduction." Li Jianyue said.

  Red rice is a kind of natural colored rice, which has the functions of anti-atherosclerosis and improving the antioxidant capacity of the body. It is rich in bioactive substances such as carotene, flavonoids, alkaloids and mineral elements such as iron, zinc and calcium. Professor Li crossed red rice with high protein but low yield with ordinary rice and bred "high-yield red rice rice". It is expected that this rice technology will mature in the near future.

  At present, Professor Li is still cultivating "soybean rice" that may lower blood fat and plasma cholesterol. According to reports, this is a genetically modified food, in the development of full consideration of safety issues, excluding resistance genes and reporter genes, is expected to pass the Ministry of Agriculture safety assessment in a few years. The health function of this rice comes from the soybean globulin gene, which can prevent and treat "rich disease". Rice transferred with this gene has a foreign "health weapon".
