In recent years, the wild resources of scorpion in Mengshan are drying up day by day, so artificial breeding is imperative. As long as according to the living environment of Mengshan scorpion, meet its physiological needs, and make use of scientific feeding technology, the growth of Mengshan scorpion can be accelerated, and the growth period of two years and five months in wild conditions can be shortened to 12 months, up to 10 months at the earliest.

1. Stocking density: in order to get rid of the bad habit of killing each other, we can restrict the activity area and adopt the method of sealing, fixing and limited breeding. That is to say, fix a certain amount of scorpions in one area and provide sufficient water and food, and each area can put 400-3000 scorpions, which can be divided into scorpions and young scorpions, so that the scorpions in the restricted area peel more smoothly than those in the unrestricted area, and the killing rate of each other is greatly reduced during peeling, and the survival rate is significantly higher than that in the unrestricted area.

2. Feed diversification: carnivorous feed is the main feed, and the more kinds of small insects are fed, the better. Because all kinds of insects contain different amounts of nutritional hormones, different nutritional hormones can stimulate scorpion growth and peeling. No matter spring, summer, autumn and winter, as long as the scorpion room is kept at 28-36 ℃, the feeding time should be one hour before dark. Each feeding amount is about 750 grams per 10,000 adult scorpions, once every 3-4 days. Every 10,000 scorpions were fed about 150 grams at a time, once every 2 days. The time of water supply should be two hours before feeding.

3. Constant temperature feeding: in order to accelerate the growth of scorpions, the hibernation of Mengshan scorpion must be released and constant temperature feeding must be carried out. A heating stove or electric heater should be installed in the scorpion room in winter to keep the temperature in the scorpion room at 28-36 ℃. The relative humidity of the air is kept between 60-80%. Food and water supply is the same as in spring.

4. Separate cultivation of all ages: in the process of culture, it must be separated and raised in time according to size, so that the specifications are consistent, so as to facilitate synchronous growth.
