Characteristics: this variety belongs to japonica three-line hybrid rice. the whole growth period is 154.6 days in southern Liaoning, southern Xinjiang and Beijing and Tianjin, which is 1.9 days later than that of Jinzhu 1. The plant height is 103.5 cm, the total number of grains per panicle is 116.4, the seed setting rate is 88.3%, and the 1000-grain weight is 26.8g. Rice blast is grade 5. Main indicators of rice quality: head rice rate 65.7%, chalky rice rate 30%, chalkiness 3.8%, gel consistency 85 mm, amylose content 16.9%.

Yield performance: in 2002, participated in the regional trial of Jinzhu 1 group in northern rice region, the average yield per mu was 727.9 kg, which was 15.7% higher than that of the control Jinzhu 1 (extremely significant). In 2003, the average yield per mu was 701.2 kg, 14.4% higher than that of the control Jinzhu 1 (extremely significant). In the two-year regional trial, the average yield per mu was 714.6 kg, which was 15.1% higher than that of Jinzhu 1. In the production test in 2003, the average yield per mu was 635 kg, which was 7.7% higher than that of the control Jinzhu 1.
