2. Characteristic characteristics

It belongs to Luzhou-flavor rice variety. Cultivated as old seedlings of middle rice or wheat stubble in Beijing plain, the whole growth period is 150-155 days, plant height is 1.0-1.1 meters, leaf color is green, tillering ability is medium, panicle type is large and awnless. The number of effective panicles per mu is 206000, the total grains per panicle is 141.0, the number of filled grains is 114.4, the seed setting rate is 81.2%, and the 1000-grain weight is 23.4g. The stem is thicker and the lodging resistance is stronger. In the later stage, the cold tolerance was moderate, the grain filling was slow under the condition of low temperature, and there were more blighted grains in the stem of the ear. The male sterile lines with IR24 cytoplasmic type had a higher degree of recovery (> 70%). The yield per mu can reach 450 kg.

It was moderately resistant to seedling blast and bacterial blight, susceptible to seedling disease, and showed mild panicle and neck blast in the field.

Quality analysis: Brown rice rate 83.0%, milled rice rate 74.3%, head rice rate 58.5%, chalkiness rate 12%, chalkiness 1.4%, amylose content 16.9%, protein content 8.5%. Compared with the original fragrant japonica varieties, the whole japonica rice rate is significantly increased, the chalky rice grain is greatly reduced, and the appearance quality is significantly improved, which can be put on the market alone or as the ingredient of high quality square rice.

III. Key points of cultivation techniques

1. Strict seed disinfection before sowing to prevent evil seedling disease.

2. The suitable sowing date for medium rice cultivation is early May and transplanting seedlings around June 10, while wheat stubble rice can be sown from May 5 to 10, and strive to transplant early, and the seedling age is no more than 50 days. It is required to sparsely sow seeds and raise strong seedlings.

3. Transplanting specifications: row spacing is about 25 cm, hole spacing is 10-15 cm. The number of seedlings per hole: 2-3 seedlings of medium rice and 3-4 seedlings of wheat stubble rice.

4. Management focuses on improving panicle rate and seed setting rate; increasing the proportion of tillering fertilizer on tiller fertilizer (40%); ear fertilizer is postponed to before meiosis stage, that is, drying in the middle stage should not be too long, and return water and topdressing fertilizer 3-5 days before flag leaf extraction, increase or decrease phosphorus and potassium fertilizer; water cut off in the later stage is 7 days later than that of panicle type varieties.
