Characteristics: this variety is a conventional japonica rice variety. The whole growth period is 178.8 days in Beijing, Tianjin and Tang areas, which is 7 days later than that of 93 in the control. The plant height is 115.4 cm, the stem is stout, the sword leaf is long, erect, the grass under the leaf. The total number of grains per panicle is 132.6, the seed setting rate is 84.7%, and the 1000-grain weight is 24.75g. Resistance: seedling blast grade 3, leaf blast grade 1, ear neck blast grade 3. Main indicators of rice quality: head rice rate 71.6%, chalky rice rate 11.5%, chalkiness 1.1%, gel consistency 91 mm, amylose content 16.6%.
Yield performance: participated in the national rice variety regional trial in northern rice region in 2001, the average yield per mu was 555.6 kg, which was 6.0% higher than that of Zhongzuo 93 (not significant); in 2002, the average yield per mu was 569.5 kg, which was 6.2% higher than that of Zhongzuo 93 (not significant). In the production test in 2002, the average yield per mu was 502 kg, which was 7.2% lower than that of 93 in the control.
