It is an early maturing indica rice variety with high quality, high yield and disease resistance. The whole growth period is about 120 days early and 100 days late, with a plant height of about 100 cm, an average of 150 grains per panicle, a seed setting rate of 95% and a 1000-grain weight of 17 grams.

The rice is made into a special grade later. Generally, the yield per mu is 390 kg, and the highest yield per mu is 468 kg. The resistance to rice blast was 2.3 and that to bacterial blight was 3.5. After trial production and consumption, it is considered that the rice taste is soft and delicious, which can be compared with the quality of Zengcheng tall silk seedlings, which is well-known at home and abroad. It is suitable for the development of characteristic agriculture in the 21st century, which is the demand direction of "three high" grain production.
