Variety source: Bashang Agricultural Science Research Institute, Zhangjiakou District, Hebei Province, used "Duozibai" (292-20) as female parent and "Epoka" as male parent in 1958. It was bred and named in 1972 and began to popularize. It has been approved as a national variety by the National crop Variety examination and approval Committee.

Main characters: plant type semi-erect, more branched, plant height about 60cm, stem green, strong growth potential; green leaves, medium hairs, large compound leaves, 4 pairs of lateral leaflets; inflorescence general peduncle green, purplish, petiole node colored, Corolla white, stamens yellow, stigma 3-lobed, naturally sterile; tubers long ellipsoidal, white flesh, smooth epidermis, neat sweet potatoes, concentrated tubers. Semi-light, the bud base is round, pink, the top is pointed, light purple, less fluffy; the tuber has a short dormancy period and medium storability. Medium maturity, growth days of about 90 days; medium steaming quality, large tubers, suitable for vegetables; processing quality: 18.5% of dry matter, 14% of starch, 0.31% of reducing sugar, 1.67% of crude protein, vitamin C13.8 mg/100g; plants are more resistant to late blight, tubers are not susceptible to disease, light ring rot, light mosaic and leaf curl virus disease; 667 square meters yield is about 1000~1500kg, high yield can reach more than 2000kg.

Suitable for planting areas: mainly distributed in Hebei Province, Beijing, Shandong Teng County also has a large area of cultivation.

Key points of cultivation techniques: because of early seedling emergence, early tuber formation and rapid expansion, this variety needs to take measures to increase production, such as early watering and early topdressing, which can give full play to the potential of increasing production, and the suitable planting density is 667 square meters, 3000000 plants. Spring sowing and intercropping are more suitable in the second season.
