Porcine eczema, also known as porcine eczema, is mainly caused by pigs living in a humid environment for a long time, especially in high temperature season.

First, symptoms of the disease. Most of the acute affected pigs had a sudden onset, with redness of the submandibular, abdominal and perineal skin, and large nodules of broad bean and itching at the same time. Later, blisters and papules appeared on the skin of the affected pigs with the aggravation of the disease. Blisters and papules are often accompanied by yellow exudate, and finally form scabs or turn into scales and so on. Acute pigs often become chronic if they are not treated in time, because of thick and itchy skin, pigs often wipe walls and trees to stop itching, resulting in shedding of the whole body coat, local infection, erosion or suppuration, and long-term pigs lose weight and die of weakness.

Second, prevention. Do not accumulate fertilizer in the pigsty in the hot season, but should often clean the pigsty to keep it clean and dry, while preventing rain leakage, often put the bedding grass in the sun, and sprinkle some lime to remove moisture from the walls with high humidity.

Third, treatment. For acute pigs, calcium chloride or calcium gluconate can be injected intravenously, vitamin A5000 international unit, vitamin C tablet and compound vitamin B tablet can be taken at the same time, and adrenaline 0.5 × 1.5 ml can be injected if necessary. For the affected pigs with flushing and papules in the focus, 1 gram of fish stone fat, 1 gram of salicylic acid and 30 grams of zinc oxide ointment can be mixed and daubed. For pigs with chronic dampness, wash the affected part with soapy water first, and then apply 10% sulfur coal tar ointment for external washing treatment. If you suffer from suppurative infection in pigs, you can first wash it with 0.1% potassium permanganate solution or 0.3% furacilin solution, and then apply sulfonate tincture or sprinkle with anti-inflammatory powder.
