The plant type is moderate, the stem is stout, the tillering ability is strong, the effective panicle is 263300 per mu, the total grains per panicle is 73.32grains, the filled grains are 60.91grains, the seed setting rate is 83.05%, and the 1000-grain weight is 28.48g. The roughness rate is 81.3%, head rice rate 28.8%, rice grain length 7.3mm, length-width ratio 3.2%, chalky grain rate 92%, chalkiness 23.0%, amylose content 18.17%, gel consistency 71mm. The resistance to rice blast was identified by natural induction in the disease area: seedling blast grade 3, leaf blast grade 4, ear neck blast grade 5.

Yield performance: participated in the rice regional test in Jiangxi Province from 2001 to 2002, the average yield per mu in 2001 was 461.47 kg, 4.6% higher than that of you I402, and in 2002, the average yield per mu was 466.24 kg, which was 0.17% lower than that of you I402.

The main points of cultivation techniques are as follows: sowing in late March, sowing amount of 10-15kg per mu of seedling field, 1.5kg of seed per mu of field, seedling age of 30-35d, planting specification of 16.5x 19.8cm and 2 grains per hole.
