Jinyou 1007 (original name: Jinyou 9702 rice)

Variety source: Jindao 521 / Wuyujing 3

Characteristics: this variety is a conventional japonica rice variety. The whole growth period of this variety is 156.6 days in Huang-Huai area, which is one day later than that of Yujing 6. The plant height is 99 cm, the total number of grains per panicle is 142.6, the seed setting rate is 84.5%, and the 1000-grain weight is 23.7g. Rice blast is grade 3. The main indicators of rice quality: head rice rate 67.3%, chalky rice rate 5%, chalkiness 0.2%, gel consistency 85 mm, amylose content 17.2%.

Yield performance: in the regional trial of Yujing 6 group in northern rice region in 2002, the average yield per mu was 601.4 kg, which was 0.6% lower than that of Yujing 6 (not significant). In 2003, the average yield per mu was 476.5 kg, 3.3% higher than that of Yujing 6 (extremely significant). The average yield per mu in the two-year regional trial was 539kg, 1.1% higher than that of Yujing 6. In the production test in 2003, the average yield per mu was 518 kg, which was 9.3% higher than that of Yujing 6.
