Striping can be planted in spring and autumn, and autumn is better from the end of August to the middle of October. Choose 1-2-year-old sturdy branches to make strips, 50ml 80cm long, and step on them after covering the soil, so that the strips are exposed to the soil surface. II. Field management

(1) weeding by ploughing. Ploughing and weeding 3 times 4 times a year. Weeding was carried out for the first time when new leaves were produced, and weeding was carried out once in July and August respectively. Do it one last time before the frost in late autumn and early winter. Weeding should start from the periphery of flowers, far then near, first deep and then shallow, do not damage the root system.

(2) topdressing. 1-2 years after planting, apply more human and animal dung, plant ash, urea, potassium sulfate and other fertilizers. After two years of planting, more fertilizers such as animal manure, barnyard manure, cake fertilizer and calcium superphosphate should be applied before winter or early spring every year. Appropriate amount of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium compound fertilizer should be applied after each stubble flower harvest to provide sufficient nutrients for the next stubble flower. After sprouting in early spring and when the first batch of flowers are harvested, open-loop ditches are used to irrigate human faeces, urine and chemical fertilizers. Weeding for the last time before the beginning of winter, apply rotten organic fertilizer or compost (cake compost) at the base of the flowers, and then cultivate the soil to make the honeysuckle plants survive the winter safely.

(3) pruning. Make the honeysuckle plant grow into an umbrella shape in the first two years after planting, and then prune the old branches, weak branches and long branches every year in autumn and winter, so as to make the internal and external layers of the honeysuckle plant clear, ventilated and transparent, so as to increase the yield. Before sprouting in early spring every year, the top of the branch is cut off to promote the lower part of the branch to grow stout and upright gradually. The old withered branches and invalid branches of the inner hall should be removed from the larger plants, the vigorous plants should be cut lightly, and the old plants with weak growth should be cut heavily to promote them to form more flower branches.
